Toyota Innova EV concept: battery and specs

The all-electric Innova is powered by a 59.3kWh lithium-ion battery pack that outputs up to 179hp and a colossal 700Nm of torque. While the battery can be juiced up with both AC and DC charging systems, Toyota remains tight-lipped about the Innova EV’s maximum range.
Toyota Innova EV concept: exterior design

The 2025 iteration of the Innova EV concept is a slight departure from the current diesel-powered Innova Crysta in the styling department. Up front, the nearly closed-off grille area is flanked by the recognisable angular headlights, which are now connected via a light strip and feature new LED signatures. The bumper has slimmer fog lights, and the Toyota badge gets blue accenting to hammer the EV point home.
Blue and grey decals run across the Innova EV’s side profile, the roof and pillars are blacked-out, and it rides on new 16-inch alloy wheels. Over to the rear, the MPV gets translucent connected LED tail-lamps with new signatures and blue borders, as well as ‘BEV’ badging on the bootlid.

Unlike the exterior, the Innova EV’s cabin retains some similarities to that of the Innova Crysta, but it notably features a flat floor under which the battery pack is located, opening up extra room for rear passengers. Bespoke dual-tone upholstery, the lack of a gear lever, and electric blue accents around the gauges help differentiate the Innova EV’s cabin further. Other creature comforts include a large infotainment screen, leather-wrapped steering wheel, digital driver readout, captain seats in the second row, wireless charging, ambient lighting, and more.
Toyota maintains that the Innova EV concept is not destined for production any time soon.
