IIT BHU Placement 2025-25: IIT BHU secured 1128 job offers, 424 internships with a record CTC of Rs 2.20 crore.
IIT BHU Placement: The Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (IIT BHU) has made impressive strides in its 2024-25 placement season, securing 1,128 job offers and 424 internship opportunities, as revealed in an official statement.
The institute broke its own record by securing its highest-ever cost-to-company (CTC) package of Rs 2.20 crore per annum, surpassing the previous record of Rs 2.15 crore set in 2021. With an average package of Rs 22.80 lakh, this marks IIT BHU’s best placement performance in the last decade.
A wide range of top companies from sectors like technology, consulting, finance, and core engineering participated, with major recruiters including Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Tata Steel, Amazon, and more.
Prof. Amit Patra, the Director of IIT BHU said, “These placement results reinforce our position as a premier institute producing industry-ready professionals. Our students’ talent and our commitment to excellence continue to attract top-tier recruiters.”
“As we continue our placement season, we remain dedicated to fostering strong industry partnerships and providing our students with unparalleled professional development opportunities,” Patra added.
The first phase of the placement drive took place from November 30 to December 12, 2024, with CTCs ranging between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 1.65 crore. The second phase began in early January 2025 and will continue until April 30, 2025. A comprehensive graduate outcome report will be shared by May 30, 2025, offering an overview of the season’s success.
Meanwhile, IIT Madras is offering the paid Summer Fellowship Programme 2025 for young students from Engineering, Management, Sciences, and Humanities. The last date to apply for the IIT Madras Summer Fellowship 2025 programme is February 28, 2025 by 5:00 PM.
Undergraduate and Postgraduate students can also apply for a paid Summer Internship Program by IIT Palakkad. The six-week residential program combines hands-on research training with the use of various hardware and software analysis tools to provide participants with a comprehensive research experience.
