GAT-B 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started registration for Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) 2025. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website at exams.nta.ac.in. The last date to apply for GAT-B 2025 is March 3, 2025. The application correction window will remain open on March 5 and 6.
The exam will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for a duration of three hours. GAT-B 2025 will be conducted on April 20 from 10 am to 1 pm in a single shift. The exam will be in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The admit cards for this will be issued about a week in advance.
GAT-B is a national level entrance exam conducted for admission to PG courses in biotechnology and allied fields supported by the Department of Biotechnology. The scores are accepted by around 63 colleges in the country for admission to PG courses like MTech Biotechnology/Allied Science, MSc Biotechnology and MSc Agricultural Biology. Apart from this, its score is also used for DBT – Junior Research Fellowship.
GAT-B 2025: Eligibility Criteria
– The candidate must have a graduation degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or a related subject from a recognized university.
– The candidate must have obtained at least 50 per cent marks in graduation degree.
– The age of the candidate should not be more than 28 years.

For General/OBC-NCL/EWS – Rs 1300
For SC/ST/PwD – Rs 650
“Candidates can apply for GAT-B- 2025 through “Online” mode only. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. Multiple Application Forms submitted by a candidate will not be accepted under any circumstances,” reads the official notice.
