NEET UG 2025: The examination will be conducted offline and will consist of 180 multiple-choice questions.
NEET UG 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon commence the registration process for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG 2025). Though the NTA is yet to confirm the schedule of the NEET UG 2025 application process, eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website at neet.nta.nic.in, once the link is activated.
The NTA will also release the official NEET 2025 information bulletin, which will contain important details such as the exam date, eligibility criteria, application process, exam pattern, syllabus, and seat reservation policies.
How To Fill NEET UG 2025 Application Form?
Once the registration process begins, candidates can follow these steps to apply:
Step 1: Visit the official website at neet.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Locate and click on the “NEET UG 2025 Registration” link on the homepage
Step 3: Enter basic details such as name, contact information, and email ID to generate login credentials.
Step 4: Log in using the credentials and provide personal details, educational qualifications, and exam centre preferences.
Step 5: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and any other required documents in the specified format.
Step 6: Complete the payment via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
Step 7: Save and print the confirmation page for future reference.
APAAR ID Not Mandatory For NEET 2025 Registration
Previously, the NTA had required candidates to provide an APAAR ID while registering for NEET UG 2025. However, the agency has now clarified that an APAAR ID is not mandatory. Candidates can use other valid details to complete their registration.

NEET UG 2025 Exam Pattern
The NEET UG 2025 exam will be conducted in an offline (pen-and-paper) mode, with a total duration of 3 hours, from 2 PM to 5 PM. The exam will consist of 180 questions, carrying a total of 720 marks. The marking scheme will award +4 marks for each correct answer and impose a -1 mark penalty for each incorrect answer (negative marking).
The NEET 2025 score will be used for admissions to various undergraduate courses, including MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BSc Nursing, BVSc, and AH programmes.
NEET UG 2025: The NTA will soon start the application process for NEET UG on neet.nta.nic.in. APAAR ID is not mandatory for registration.
