Broccoli – use fresh broccoli for this recipe. Make sure to shred the broccoli fine so it disintegrates into the sauce.

Garlic – Garlic adds aroma and flavour to the lasagna.

Butter – butter is important to make white sauce. You can use olive oil instead of butter for lighter version.

Plain Flour – Wheat flour can be used instead of plain flour.

Milk – the broccoli sauce has to be slightly thin so adjust milk accordingly.

Seasoning – you can flavour broccoli lasagna with any flavourings and seasonings. You can use ground nutmeg, Italian seasoning, salt and white pepper.
