Pavail Gulatie will be sharing screen space with Shahid Kapoor in Deva, for the first time.
The official trailer launch took place in Mumbai, on January 18, 2025.
The cast featuring Shahid Kapoor, Pooja Hegde, and Pavail Gulatie, was also present to grace the occasion.
At the event, Pavail Gulatie was asked about his bromance with Shahid Kapoor on the sets of the film.
He said, “On the sets, my food was sponsored by Shahid Kapoor. Shahid has got food for me for around 10-15 days. He used to get me tiffins, and bouffet, and he was kind enough to get food for me, which was lovely.”
Pavail also highlighted that his bromance with Shahid on screen was terrific because they bonded so well off the screen too.
He said, “Our bromance on screen was fantastic because we got along very well off the screen. I met Shahid before, when we shot for 10 days before Diwali. That’s the time I told him that I had grown up copying his dance steps. And I joined Shiamak’s dance class because Shahid had also been a part of it. I have always been a big fan of his, and Rosshan sir.”
Pavail added, “Siddharth Roy Kapur was the first person who called me after Thappad was released, and it was the biggest thing. I have worked with a wonderful crew, and Shahid is the backbone of this.”
Pavail Gulatie will be essaying the role of a cop in Deva, directed by Rosshan Andrrews.
The film boasts of intense action sequences, peppered with a mass appeal that is sure to keep the audience engrossed to the big screen.
The film is slated to hit the screens on January 31, 2025.
