CBSE has formed a committee responsible for creating a structured Parenting Calendar for the 2025-26 academic CB
In a move aimed at strengthening the collaboration between schools and parents, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the formation of a committee to design a structured Parenting Calendar for the academic session 2025-26.
The initiative underscores the growing need for effective communication and engagement between educators and parents, particularly in today’s dynamic educational environment. The Parenting Calendar will focus on several key objectives, including:
Facilitating Effective Parent-Teacher Interactions: The calendar will streamline communication, ensuring that parents and teachers have clear guidelines on when and how to discuss student progress and concerns.
Supporting Diverse Student Needs: Special attention will be given to adolescents, children with special needs (CWSN), and different age groups, ensuring that the unique challenges faced by these students are addressed.
Establishing a Communication Framework for Key Milestones: The calendar will highlight critical events such as exam results and behavioural changes, allowing parents and teachers to be on the same page and make timely interventions.
Structured Engagement for Support and Intervention: By providing a timeline for regular check-ins and updates, the initiative aims to offer timely support for students who need it most.
