Prasanna Kumar-trained Knotty Legend (A. Sandesh astride) won the HPSL South India Derby Stakes, the prestigious event of the Pongal Day races, here on Tuesday (Jan.15). The son of Gusto-Dovers Hill, who was racing sixth or seventh till the last 600m, improved gradually and came with a terrific turn of foot to collar the leader Rodney in the last 150m and register his sixth win in a row.
