The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has declared the Assistant Information Officer (AIO) Preliminary Examination 2025 results. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access and download the result available as a PDF from the KPSC’s official website at keralapsc.gov.in. It includes the roll numbers of the candidates shortlisted for the next process, which is, the main examination.
“Inclusion of register numbers in this list is purely provisional. This inclusion does not confer any right on the candidate for inclusion in the Ranked list to be prepared on the basis of the descriptive Examination,” states the official notice.
Candidates who have secured 16.00 marks or above have cleared the preliminary exam. “The minimum marks for various reservation communities have been lowered to ensure their adequate representation in the eligibility list,” the notice added.
Those who clear the main exam will next have to appear for the document verification round. Candidates will have to produce a Community Certificate/Non Creamy Layer Certificate/EWS Certificate at the time of One Time Registration Verification, if applicable, if they are included in the list to be published after the final examinations. If they fail to prove their claim, their application will be summarily rejected, it added.
KPSC Assistant Information Officer Result 2025: How to Download?
Step 1 — Visit the official website of Kerala PSC.
Step 2 — On the homepage, click on the ‘Results’ link.
Step 3 — Click on the ‘Assistant Information Officer in Information and Public Relations’ result link
Step 4 — The result will be available as a PDF.
Step 5 — Search for your registration number.
Step 6 — Download the page and take a print out for future reference.
The exam was held on October 25, 2024.
Revaluation of the answer script is not allowed however, it will be rechecked if the candidates apply through their one-time registration profile by remitting the prescribed fee of Rs 85.
Those selected for the posts of KPSC Assistant Information Officer will get a salary ranging between Rs 39,300 to Rs 83,000.
