Loveyapa trailer launch: Aamir Khan jokes about turning 60: “March mein main SATHIYAANE waala hoon!”
Aamir Khan expressed happiness over meeting Ashutosh Rana saying, “After 25-26 years, I met Ashutosh ji. We worked in Ghulam (1998) together. We have spoken on phone and met, albeit briefly. But we are connecting after a long time. When I learned that you’d be here, it made my evening special as I have had lot of fondness for Ashutosh always.”
Talking about Loveyapa, he said, “The special part about this film is its subject. Kisi bhi film mein kahani bahut important hoti hai. This film tells a story of today. It’s a story of all of us. We all own mobile phones. We all have private lives. We all want to lead good lives and have sound relationships. We don’t want anyone to lie or break our trust. Lekin kya hum bhi yeh cheez dene ke liye tayyar hai (smiles)? This is what the film is all about.”
Aamir Khan then sportingly reminded everyone that he’s going to turn 60 years old on March 14. He joked, “It’s a story about all of us, not just for youngsters but also for those who are going to turn 60 (points at himself). This year, I’ll turn 60. March mein main sathiyaane waala hoon!”
Aamir continued, “So it’s an entertaining story and gives something to you to think about.”
Loveyapa releases in cinemas on February 7.
