Womenswear brand Realm by Vaishali has responded to the increasing trend of bridal individualism and bachelorette parties with its new product line, designed to offer occasion wear for bachelorette gatherings.

The brand has seen a shift in consumer behaviour where brides prioritise their individuality and embrace global fashion trends in the lead up to their wedding day, announced the label in a press release. This has also led to an increase in bachelorette parties in India where the bride to be and her female friends celebrate their friendship and bid goodbye to unmarried life. 

With its new product line, Realm caters to these events with glittering mini dresses, oversized sequin sets, and cropped bralets among other youthful garments. The brand positions the collection in opposition to the ‘quiet luxury’ trend, favouring bold silhouettes and playful details. 

“Our design codes deviate from traditional luxury fashion, our designs appeal to ultra luxury shoppers as well as mass consumers and our collection encapsulates a transformative moment with versatility and elegance,” said Realm’s founder and creative director Vaishali Dahiya in a press release. “Generating an image of glamour that is desired by and played back by our customers. Perfect for the modern bride-to-be, who is confident, unapologetically herself, and ready to dazzle the world.”

Vaishali Dahiya launched Realm with the aim of creating “couture for the modern woman,” according to the brand’s Instagram page. The label retails from its direct to customer e-commerce store, which ships globally, and also has a retail presence on multi-brand platforms including Pernia‘s Pop Up Shop, Vesimi Dubai, and Nykaa Luxe.
