Schools in Delhi NCR to Shift to Hybrid Mode for Classes Up to Grade 5.

Schools in Delhi NCR will shift to hybrid mode for classes up to grade 5 under GRAP-III. The GRAP-III recommendations have been enforced across Delhi and the NCR due to “highly unfavourable weather conditions, including calm winds and low mixing height,” according to the Commission for Air Quality Management. As part of GRAP-III, all schools in Delhi-NCR must switch to hybrid classes for students up to Class V. Students and parents should note that the authorities in each district will issue an order regarding this.

Additionally, diesel-powered commercial vehicles will face restrictions. Goods vehicles with engines below BS-IV certification are not allowed to operate, except for emergencies or essential services. Goods carriers registered outside Delhi cannot enter the city if their engine is below BS-IV until further notice.
