CLAT 2024 Counselling Schedule: The first seat allotment list will be announced on December 26, 2024, the second one on January 10, 2025, and the third merit list on January 24, 2025.
The Consortium of National Law Universities released the results of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 on December 7, 2024, for both UG and PG courses. The CLNU has also released the counselling schedule and commenced the application process on December 9. The last date to register is December 20 up to 10 pm. Candidates will receive invitations to the Admissions Counselling Process via email at their registered email address and SMS at their registered phone number.
To apply, candidates must log in to their CLAT account on the website of the Consortium of NLUs, consortiumofnlus.ac.in, and validate that they have been invited for counselling during each round, the official notice stated. They have also been requested to review the different programmes and seat matrix by reviewing the brochures of the NLUs available on the Participating Universities page and provide the preferences carefully. One must provide a minimum of 15 preferences.
Candidates are required to pay the counselling registration fee by 10 pm on December 20, 2024. General category candidates need to pay Rs 30,000 while ST, SC, OBC, BC, EWS, and PWD categories are required to pay Rs 20,000.
CLAT 2024 Counselling Schedule
There will be five rounds of admissions counselling. If a candidate is not allotted a seat in a given round, they are requested to wait for the next round of counselling as this is a sequential process. The first seat allotment list will be announced on December 26, 2024, the second one on January 10, 2025, and the third merit list on January 24, 2025.
As per the official notice, the fourth and fifth rounds of admissions counselling will be conducted in May 2025 to fill up the seats based on vacancies after May 14, 2025. All available seats will be allotted to the next eligible candidates at this point. After the fifth round of the admissions counselling process, the central admission process conducted by the Consortium will be closed.
CLAT 2025 was conducted in a single shift from 2 PM to 4 PM on December 1, 2024. The overall attendance percentage for CLAT 2025 was 96.33 per cent, as per the official website. Of the candidates who appeared for the exam, 57 per cent are females, 43 percent are males, and 9 candidates are transgender.
One male student from Haryana and another from Madhya Pradesh have achieved the highest score in the CLAT UG exam 2025, which is 99.997 percentile. One female student from Odisha has secured the top spot in the CLAT PG 2025 exam by scoring 99.993 percentile.
