Filmmaker Sukumar’s Pushpa 2: The Rule has ensured that the year ends on a terrific note for the exhibitors, not just in India but also world over. The Allu Arjun starrer action entertainer has broken records in India with its Hindi version itself scoring close to Rs. 300 crores in a mere four days.
But that’s not all. Pushpa 2 has also earned mammoth outside India in the international markets. After opening at an incredible number of Rs. 294 crores gross on day 1 in all languages worldwide, the movie saw an expected and normal drop on the next day with Rs. 155 crores, only to take a jump on Saturday with Rs. 172 crores. The movie was expected to cross this number on Sunday, but it did that handsomely by amassing Rs. 208 crores.
Hence, the grand worldwide total of Pushpa 2 currently stands at a humongous Rs. 829 crores. By doing this, the movie has become the fastest Indian film to reach Rs. 800 crores worldwide in just four days. And going by the way it has been trending, it is a given that it will reach the worldwide figure of Rs. 1000 crores gross in record number of time.
