The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is expected to announce the results of the Civil Services Exam (CSE) Mains exam 2024 soon. Once out, all the candidates who had appeared for the exam can check the results on the commission’s official website at upsc.gov.in. However, an official announcement of the result date is still awaited.
The exam was held on September 20, 21, 22, 28 and 29, 2024. A total of 14,627 candidates who appeared in the UPSC Mains 2024 exam are now waiting for the release of the results. Those who clear the exam will next have to appear for the interview round. This year 13.4 lakh candidates appeared in the UPSC prelims exam that was held on June 16, 2024. Through this, recruitment will be done for 1056 posts for various services including IAS, IFS, and IPS.

UPSC Civil Services Mains Exam Results 2024: How To Check?
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Union Public Service Commission at upsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Look out for the tab named ‘Results’ and click on it.
Step 3: After clicking on Results, a new page will open with multiple tabs. Look out for another tab ‘Civil Services 2024 Exam Mains Result’ or some similar mentioning and click on it.
Step 4: The result is likely going to be a PDF document.
Step 5: Follow the instructions carefully and fill in all the required details and find your result within the PDF.
Step 6: Download your result and take a print out of it on a white A4 size sheet paper for future reference.
The UPSC CSE results will decide which candidate will be joining the coveted ranks of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Revenue Service (IRS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and other central government services.
