With SSC announcing the exam schedule for SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam, it is believed that the result for SSC CGL Tier 1 has been prepared and will be released on the commission soon. However, no official information regarding the release date of the results have been announced so far.
As per the official schedule, the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam will be conducted on January 18, 19 and 20 next year. Only those candidates who will clear the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam will be considered eligible to appear for the Tier 2 exam.
SSC CGL 2024 Result: Marks required to pass SSC CGL Tier 1 exam
In order to pass the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam, a candidate is required to score at least 30% marks in the general or unreserved category, while those in OBC and EWS have to get passing marks of 25%. For the rest of the categories, the pass percentage is 20%.
The Tier 1 exam contains multiple-choice questions on general intelligence and reasoning, general awareness as well as quantitative aptitude and English comprehension. Each of these sections contain 25 questions for 50 marks.
If a candidate secured less marks, then he or she is declared failed and not allowed to appear for the Tier 2 exam.
SSC CGL 2024 Result: Key details

It must be noted that the commission released the provisional answer key for CGL exam on October 3, 2024. In this regard, a chance was given to file objections till October 8, 2024. Along with the result of SSC Combined Graduate Level Tier 1 exam, the cutoff list can also be released.
