The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has come up with a bumper offer for the youth who see their future in the civil aviation sector. AAI has decided to give the youth an opportunity for apprenticeship in the civil aviation sector. During this one-year apprenticeship, the candidates will be made proficient in all the technical details related to the aviation sector, so that they can make a better future for themselves in this sector. Interested applicants can send their application to AAI by November 20.
According to AAI, there are a total of 90 posts for apprenticeship, in which there are different posts for different streams. Out of these 90 posts, 17 posts have been set for civil engineer, 20 for electric engineer, 15 for computer science engineer, 8 for mechanical engineer, 5 for fitter, 10 for mechanical motor vehicle, 10 for electrician, and 5 for draftsman.
According to AAI, this apprenticeship program has been classified based on qualification. Youth having a regular four-year graduation course, three-year diploma and ITI certificate in any subject can apply for this apprenticeship. AAI has fixed 30-30 posts for graduate, diploma and trade. Candidates from Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, and Arunachal Pradesh origin can apply for this apprenticeship program.
As per the Airport Authority of India (AAI), graduates selected for the apprenticeship program will get a stipend of Rs 15,000, technical diploma holders Rs 12,000, and trade apprentices Rs 9,000 per month. Candidates who have completed their graduation or diploma in the year 2021 or later, will be selected for this post. Likewise, the age limit of the applicants applying should be between 18 to 26 years.
However, this year, in January, the AAI again released a notification for the application in several Apprentice posts in different disciplines. There were 85 posts in the organisation, out of which 15 posts were available for Civil Engineers, 21 posts for Electrical engineers, 9 posts for computer engineers, 3 posts for Mechanical engineers, 2 posts for a fitter, 5 posts for mechanics, 4 posts for Draftsman, and 19 posts for electricians were available.
