The Australian media is celebrating one of the biggest face-offs in Test cricket, India vs Australia, in style as News Corp Australia has announced an eight-page wrap in English, Hindi and Punjabi in their print and digital editions to cover the five Tests of the coming Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT).
The Indian team is already in Australia, and the BGT title-holders will begin the tour with the first match of the series in Perth from November 22.

The special edition will be published in News Corp’s various publications across Australia and will be available from November 12 onwards. It also revealed that a “16-page ultimate launch guide” will be published on November 17, “also containing content in Hindi and Punjabi”.
After the Perth Test, the following four matches are scheduled to be hosted by Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
India emerged victorious in their last two Test series in Australia to strengthen their hold on the BGT, which the Aussies haven’t won since 2014. However, the visitors are not in the best of forms, having been whitewashed 0-3 at home by New Zealand and some of their batsmen, including Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, out of form.

The announcement of multilingual coverage to woo the Indian readers also led to surprise and excitement among the cricket fans, including the Australians as well as the Indians settled there.
