Rajasthan Sanskrit University Exams Postponed Due To Assembly By-elections

By-elections are to be held on 7 assembly seats of Rajasthan.

Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University of Rajasthan has revised the examination schedule for the first and second years of Shastri. This examination was to be held from November 7 to November 14. The examination to be held on November 13, will now be held on November 16 due to the assembly by-election. Along with this, the Integrated Shastri examination, which was to be held on November 13, will be held on November 23. In a recent media interaction, the university’s examination controller, Dr Shambhu Kumar Jha, said that Shastri examinations will be conducted in two shifts at 42 centres in the state.

As per the notice issued by the university, it has been said that by-elections are to be held on 7 assembly seats in Rajasthan on November 13. Due to a partial amendment in the Shastri first and second year examination conducted by the university, the examination to be held on November 13 has now been scheduled for November 16. Similarly, the Integrated Shastri-Shiksha Shastri examination will also be held on November 23 instead of November 13.

Jagadguru Ramanadacharya Rajasthan Sanskriti University, formerly known as Rajasthan Sanskrit University, is a public state university situated in Madau (Bhankrota) Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. It was established by the Government of Rajasthan to promote Sanskrit education.

History of the university:

The university was established on February 6, 2001, and Mandan Mishra served as the first vice chancellor of the university. On June 27, 2005, the university was renamed Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University. Anula Maurya was appointed vice chancellor in 2019.

Academic:

The university affiliates more than 60 colleges of Acharya, Shastri, and Shiksha Shastri levels throughout the state.

JRRSU Rankings:

Ranked at 619th position among Indian universities and at 9795th position among world universities by Unirank 2021. Ranked at 18th position out of 24 universities in Jaipur and at 48th position out of 70 universities in Rajasthan by Edurank.

JRRSU Scholarships:

JRRSU provides scholarship facilities to the students of SC, ST, and other reserved categories. Students can also avail of central and state government scholarships.

The SC, ST, and other reserved category students can also get scholarship facilities from Samaj Kalyan Vibhaag as well.

JRRSU also provides research scholarships under UGC for Ph.D.-pursuing students.
