As SRK celebrated his birthday recently, Arunabh took the opportunity to reflect on how his journey began because of the superstar. He shared glimpses on social media of his time working on films and as an Assistant Director with Shah Rukh Khan. As he wished the superstar a happy birthday, he penned a long caption about his connection with the superstar, wherein he said, “From being a Stand-In for his Shots on Om Shanti Om, as an AD (Assistant Director) in 2007, to be able to Direct him for the 1st time on an Online Content in 2014… when Youtube & Viral Videos were still unpopular words… and still He agreed to be a part of the Pilot episode of a show where the idea was to get the Celebs be themselves and have fun…we literally got the BIGGEST SUPERSTAR for the 1st Episode itself and It was his sense of humor, charm and effortless wit that helped us put together Indian Internet’s FIRST Online Talk Show…which would not have been possible without him…& encouraged us at TVF to keep working on our stories as he could see the future”

Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 58th birthday on November 2 and once again received a lot of love and best wishes from his friends, colleagues, and fans across the world. The actor’s fans are waiting in anticipation to see him return to theatres in a brand new avatar in the much-talked about King. Also starring his real-life daughter Suhana Khan, the film is expected to feature him as a gangster with Abhishek Bachchan as the antagonist.
