According to reports, the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission State Services Exam (CGPSC) has announced a recruitment drive for the positions of Sub-Inspector, Subedar, and Platoon Commander. Interested candidates can visit https://psc.cg.gov.in to check about the drive. The registration window opened today and will remain open till November 21.
According to the notification, there are 278 seats for Sub-Inspector, 19 seats for the post of Subedar, 11 seats for Special Branch Sub-Inspector, 14 seats for Platoon Commander, four seats for Sub-Inspector Fingerprint, 11 seats for Sub-Inspector Question Documents, five seats for Sub-Inspector Computer and nine seats for Sub-Inspector Cyber Crime.
Education Qualification:
Candidates who wish to apply for sub-inspector, special branch sub-inspector and platoon commander must have a graduation degree in any discipline.
For the positions of sub-inspector computer and cyber crime sub-inspector cybercrime, the candidates must have a BCA or BSc in Computer Science degree or an equivalent degree.
Age Limit:
The candidates who are interested in applying for this Chhattisgarh Police recruitment are aged between 21 and 28 as of January 1, 2024. An additional age relaxation of 5 years will be provided. Additionally, OBC, SC, and ST candidates will receive an additional 5-year relaxation in the upper age limit, as per central government norms.
Other Requirements:
For male candidates, the minimum height requirement is 168 cm. The candidates must also have a chest measurement of 81 cm unexpanded and 86 cm expanded.
For female candidates, the minimum height requirement is 151 cm.
The Physical Test:
The physical test will include events like long jump, high jump, shot put, 100-meter sprint and 1500-meter race.
Selection Process:
The selection of the candidates for this Chhattisgarh Police recruitment will include a physical test, a physical efficiency test and a written exam. Candidates will have to sit for a final personal interview after the written test.
