CTET Exam Date 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially revised the date for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), now set to take place on 14th December 2024. Initially slated for 1st December 2024, the 20th edition of the CTET will feature two papers across two shifts on the new date. Paper-II is scheduled for the morning from 09:30 AM to 12:00 NOON, while Paper-I will take place in the afternoon from 02:30 PM to 05:00 PM.
This decision follows a public notice issued on 20th September 2024, which indicated the original examination date change to 15th December 2024.However, due to overlapping schedules with other competitive exams in various states and union territories on that Sunday, the CBSE has opted to move the CTET to Saturday, 14th December. Should the number of candidates warrant it, examinations may still be conducted on 15th December in select cities.

The online application process for the CTET has been ongoing since 17th September 2024, with the final date for submissions set for 16th October 2024 at 11:59 PM. All other guidelines related to the examination will remain consistent with those outlined in the Information Bulletin.
