Vietnam’s IIP grew by 8.8 per cent year on year (YoY) in the first eight months of the year, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).

Among the 63 centrally-administered cities and provinces in the country, 61 saw a growth in IIP over the past eight months, while the rest reported a fall, a domestic media outlet reported.
The number of workers in industrial enterprises as of August 11 increased by 0.9 per cent MoM and by 4.5 per cent YoY.
