Ducati Scrambler based concept, details

Ducati could be adding two new variants to its Scrambler range of motorcycles.

Ducati has unveiled two new concept motorcycles at the 2024 Bike Shed Moto Show in London. The CR241 and RR241 concepts are based on the Ducati Scrambler and both follow a different design language.

  2. Ducati hasn’t confirmed if this concept will go into production

The CR241 takes inspiration from the 1970’s Ducati 750SS and follows its Cafe Racer like design. Featuring a bikini fairing, a set of clip on handlebars, bar end mirrors and a flat seat to complete the look.

The pillion seat has a removable cowl and Ducati has even thrown in a Termignoni exhaust for added flare on this retro themed Scrambler. Ducati has replaced the 18-inch wheel in favour of a sportier looking 17-inch setup wrapped in some road oriented tyres.

This isn’t the first time Ducati has made a Cafe Racer inspired version of the Scrambler with the first featuring back in 2017. It is powered by the same 803cc L-twin that powers the Scrambler range. The Ducati Scrambler for reference produces 72hp and 65Nm and has a 185kg kerb weight. Currently there is no update if and when this concept will see production but the prototype we see here seems rather promising.
