Hero Vida V1 Pro price, new Vida electric scooter details

It appears as though this upcoming electric scooter will be more cost effective than the Vida V1 range.

As we had reported earlier, Hero MotoCorp has plans to expand the Vida lineup and to that end the company has now patented a new electric scooter’s design.

  1. Has simpler, more cost-effective cycle parts
  2. Design is all-new, headlight looks similar to Xtreme 160R’s unit
  3. Seems to be a practical, spacious model

From the looks of things, this new Vida model appears to be a cost-effective offering. The front drum brake, the more basic leading link front suspension setup and the pillion sidestep are giveaways that this will be a more mass-market product with a more affordable price tag. While there has been some cost-cutting here, the presence of the LED indicators suggests that it won’t be a very aggresively priced model, like the Ola S1X models.

The design of the headlight is very angular and it reminds one of the unit seen on the Hero Xtreme 160R, although it remains to be seen if this is actually the case. The design of the split seat, the chunky grab rail and the luggage hook behind the rider’s feet all suggest that this new Vida model should be quite practical and spacious but we’ll reserve our final verdict for when we can inspect it up close.

There are no details about the battery, motor or feature-set regarding this new e-scooter although its quite likely that these specifications will also most likely be simpler than the V1 duo. Swappable batteries could also be omitted on this more cost-conscious Vida model.

With the FAME subsidy set to make way for the recently announced Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme 2024 on April 1, prices are likely to see an upward revision across the entire industry so it remains to be seen where this upcoming Vida model will be positioned upon its launch.
