The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) has unveiled its latest initiative, the “Ramadan in Bahrain” guide, as part of the festive celebrations in Manama, the Gulf’s tourism capital for 2024. This comprehensive guide invites visitors from around the world to experience the rich cultural heritage and vibrant atmosphere of Ramadan in Bahrain.

The guide features a diverse range of tourist events, including iftar and suhoor offerings, as well as luxurious accommodation packages, ensuring an unforgettable experience for tourists during the holy month of Ramadan. From live performances to traditional bazaars, food and beverage vendors, and more, participants can immerse themselves in the essence of Ramadan in Bahrain.

Sarah Ahmed Buhiji, CEO, Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), expressed the authority’s commitment to enhancing tourism throughout the year by launching initiatives during Ramadan in collaboration with the private sector. She emphasised the guide’s role in promoting Bahrain’s captivating attractions and diverse tourist landmarks, offering a warm welcome to families and individuals alike.

During Ramadan, various venues across the kingdom will host entertaining events, including Marassi Galleria, Al Liwan, The Avenues, Souq Al Baraha, and Seef Mall-Seef District. The “Manama Nights” event at Bahrain National Theatre will feature musical performances and traditional games, while other events like the “Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup (Bahrain Breeders Show)” and “Roast Camp” at Budaiya Botanical Gardens will add to the festive atmosphere.

The highlight of Welcomhotel Gangtok is its culinary offerings backed by the renowned cuisine expertise of ITC Hotels. The hotel will boast two food and beverage outlets: ‘Mayal,’ an all-day dining restaurant, and a pool cafe and bar. ‘Mayal’ will cater to diners with popular Sikkimese delicacies, spread across 150 covers both indoors and outdoors, providing guests with a scenic view of the valley.
