SVKM’s NMIMS (Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies) Bengaluru recently hosted the 11th edition of TEDx Bengaluru, themed ‘Rhythm of Revelation: Where Chance Encounters Brilliance’. TEDx Bengaluru has been a flagship event at the campus, showcasing thought-provoking ideas and inspiring narratives from eminent speakers. This year’s edition featured a diverse lineup of participants, each offering unique perspectives that resonated deeply with the theme.
SVKM’s NMIMS Bengaluru collaborated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) to organise an academic conclave focusing on emerging trends in ESG and Sustainability practices in businesses worldwide. The conclave featured the unveiling of a pre-release case study book titled ‘ESG: Delivering & Creating Resilient Stakeholder Value,’ highlighting the best practices in ESG and sustainability.
The institute has been actively engaged in fostering international collaborations to enrich the learning experiences of its students. The partnership with Common Purpose and the University of Bristol for the Global Futures Programme outspreads the institution’s goal of intercultural knowledge-sharing and skill development and the collaborations with other universities such as the University of Dundee and Brunel University, London, enhance the global exposure and academic rigour available to students.
Institute’s ‘HRiday Club’ has recently organised an HR Symposium, focusing on digital adoption, skilling and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace and featuring insightful keynote addresses, panel discussions and workshops by industry experts, providing attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the evolving HR domain.
