The University of Essex celebrates its first Graduation Day ceremony in India, recognising the academic accomplishments of over 80 graduates and presenting Vice-Chancellor Awards to exceptional individuals
The University of Essex concluded its inaugural Graduation Day ceremony in India. The event is for both the university and the graduating class, with over 80 esteemed graduates, alongside their families and friends, in attendance.
The University of Essex is introducing a new health bursary to cover the UK’s immigration health surcharge for Indian Masters students during their postgraduate course, in addition to the Academic Excellence Scholarship for Indian residents, worth between £3,000 and £4,000.
The atmosphere at the ceremony was one of joy and celebration as students from diverse academic backgrounds were honoured for their dedication, hard work and outstanding academic accomplishments.
The recipients of the Vice-Chancellor Awards – Sanchita Ain, Manish Michel, Ankit Mehrotra and Anushree Srivastava were granted an opportunity to engage in insightful discussions with the University’s Vice-Chancellor.
