Government-Owned ITDC Opens Recruitment for Assistant Managers, Assistant Lecturers, and Chiefs

For the post of Assistant Manager and Assistant Lecturer, the age limit is 30 years.

For the post of Assistant Manager and Assistant Lecturer, the age limit is 30 years. For the post of Assistant Manager (Legal), the age limit is 32 years.

India Tourism Development Corporation Limited (ITDC), a public sector mini-ratna company, has issued a recruitment notification for various positions such as Assistant Manager, Assistant Lecturer and Chief. As per the notification, these positions are temporary and will be for one year. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website https://intranet.itdc.co.in/ by March 14. The online application process commenced on 21st February 2024 and is ongoing.

For this recruitment, the application fee is Rs 500. However, candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and disabled categories can apply for free.

The available positions and their corresponding vacancies are as follows:

– Assistant Manager (HO): 6

– Chief: 3

– Assistant Manager (Events): 2

– Assistant Manager (Civil): 3

– Assistant Manager (E&M): 3

– Assistant Manager (Legal): 1

– Assistant Lecturer: 4

The salary for the positions is as follows:

– Assistant Manager: Rs 6.00 lakh per annum

– Lecturer: Rs 4.90 lakh per annum

For the post of Assistant Manager and Assistant Lecturer, the age limit is 30 years. However, for the post of Assistant Manager (Legal), the age limit is 32 years.

Educational Qualification:

– Assistant Manager: Candidates should have a Degree or a Three-year Diploma in Hotel Management, along with relevant experience in the field. For Assistant Manager (Civil/E&M), candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. For Assistant Manager (Legal), candidates should have completed Law with at least 55% marks.

– Assistant Lecturer: Candidates must be NHTET qualified and hold a full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and Hotel Management.

ITDC is a government-owned hospitality, retail, and education operating under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Founded in 1966, ITDC manages more than 17 properties under the popular Ashok Group of Hotels brand, situated across various locations in India.

One of the hotels developed by the government was the Akbar Hotel in Chanakyapuri, constructed between 1965 and 1969. Initially operating as a hotel, it was later repurposed into office space in the mid-1980s. Plans were proposed in 2007 to convert it back into a hotel in preparation for the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
