Buldhana Cultural Festival: Buldhana Cultural Festival Concludes with Grand Events – Maha Sanskruti Mahotsav | Nagpur News

Nagpur: The Buldhana district edition of Maha Sanskruti Mahotsav concluded on Saturday with a grand finale of events held across two locations in the district.
The first phase of the festival, held from February 12 to 14 in Khamgaon, culminated with a walkathon that saw enthusiastic participation from many across various age groups. Two races — 5km for men and 3km for women — were organized.
Pranali Shegokar, Shewanta Pawar, Arti Dhokal, Suhani Khobragade, Gauri Rathod, and Shivani Deshmukh emerged victorious in the women’s category.Mahesh Dhole, Devanand Dandge, Nikhil Mamere, Ganesh Dhorpe, and Gokul Suradkar finished on top in the men’s event.
The event was attended by sub divisional officer Puri, DySP Thorat, Tehsildar Padole, Krida Bharati’s Dattatray Kanzarkar, district coordinator Anil Mulande, and district president Shrikrishna Shete.
Khamgaon also hosted a Rangoli competition that witnessed participation from hundreds showcasing their artistic talents.
The second phase of the festival, held in Chikhli from February 20 to 23, concluded with a bhajan competition. MLA Shweta Mahale was the chief guest of the competition which continued till late night. The competition was conceptualised by Mahale. The organizers distributed gifts worth ₹1.35 lakh to participants of the competition. Apart from the top 3 groups, individual singers, instrumentalists and arrangers were also given cash prizes.
The Maha Sanskruti Mahotsav served as a vibrant platform to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Buldhana.
