Startups: 80 Startups To Get Funds Boost, Mou Signed | Nagpur News

Nagpur: A group of 25 high net-worth individuals (HNIs) from the city have committed to offer ₹25 lakh each for a period of three years to fund startups. The total amount is expected to cover initial funding requirements of around 80 startups, said Shashikant Chaudhary, convenor of startup track of the Advantage Vidarbha event.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) to this effect was signed during the event on Sunday, he said.Chaudhary added that this is basically an assurance of investment in the startups post diligent assessment.
Chaudhary said that 16 startups were showcased before the seed funds’ representatives during the Advantage Vidarbha event. As many as 20 representatives of seed fund investors took part in the event. This can be dubbed to be the largest gathering of seed fund investors at a single event in Nagpur, he added.
