Rashmika Mandanna became a force to reckon with in the south with her initial entry. She soon acquired the image of a star down south. Even before she ventured into Hindi cinema, she became popular among the masses of the Hindi belt as the Hindi dubbed version of her Telugu movie Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1 became a surprise and runaway success. And now with Animal, her first big Hindi film, she has acquired mammoth success as the film has reached a huge score of Rs. 338.63 crores in just six days.
With the success of Animal, Rashmika has made a grand entry into the Rs. 300 Crores Club in Bollywood. She has gone way higher than the Hindi version of Pushpa, which had earned a lifetime of Rs. 108.26 crores. The fact that only 14 Hindi films have managed to enter the Rs. 300 Crores Club speaks volumes about the achievement of the film directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
The journey of Animal, however, is far from over. In fact, the film is going strong at the box office and is expected to take a jump in numbers tomorrow (Saturday) and on Sunday on account of the weekend. It is being speculated that Animal will enter the coveted Rs. 500 Crores Club. So far, only Baahubali: The Conclusion, Pathaan, Jawan and Gadar 2 have achieved that number. Interestingly, the last three of the aforementioned films have released this year.
