As per the schedule, The JPSC Civil Judge 2023 registration will begin on August 21 and close on September 21, 2023, by 5:00 PM. While the last date to make the application fee payment is September 27, 2023. The Commission aims to fill a total of 138 vacancies for the post of Civil Judge ( Junior Division) through this recruitment drive.
Age Limit
The applicants should be above 22 years of age and below 35 years of age as on January 31, 2023.
Note: Age relaxation is applicable to the candidates of reserved categories.
Educational Qualification
The candidates should be a graduate of law from a recognized University and enrolled as an advocate under The Advocates Act, 1961 till the last date of submission of the application form.
Selection Process
The selection process involves three stages, namely Preliminary Entrance Test, Main Examination, and Viva-Voce Test.
– Preliminary Entrance Test: It means a written examination (Multiple Choice Questions/ Objective Type) only and the candidates declared successful in this test shall be eligible for the Main examination
– Main Examination: It means a written examination (subjective( and the candidates declared successful in this test shall be eligible for Viva-voce Test.
– Viva-voce Test: It means an oral examination.
Application Fee
Applicants belonging to the unreserved/BC/EBC/EWS categories are obligated to submit a fee of Rs 600, while candidates hailing from the SC/ST category of Jharkhand state are subject to a fee of Rs 150.
