NGAPUR: Two labourers were charred to death in a blast at a fireworks company in Kalmeshwar near Nagpur on Sunday. Around 31 labourers were working in the factory at the time.
SP Nagpur Rural, Harssh A Poddar, confirmed the deaths of two persons in the incident.
“The forensic analysis of the exhibits will confirm the exact reason behind the blast. We have also doused the fire and brought it under control,” said the SP.
Senior officials from Nagpur Rural Police, the fire brigade, forensic experts and personnel from the explosives department reached the spot.
