Eastern Railway will operate Bharat Gaurav Special trains of IRCTC to Mata Vaishno Devi on August 11 and Royal Rajasthan on October 20.
The first train will roll out from Kolkata station on August 11 for the 10-nights-11-days tour. The train will travel via Kharagpur, Midnapore, Bankura, Purulia, Ranchi, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Hazaribagh Rd, Koderma, Gaya, Sasaram and Deen Dayal Upadhyay stations. The second train will start the journey from Kolkata station on October 20 for the 11-nights-12-days tour. The train will travel along the same route.
“Both these Bharat Gaurav trains will help the tourists from Bengal to explore Incredible India in line with the government of India’s initiative ‘Ek Bharat Shresht Bharat and Dekho Apna Desh’,” said Eastern Railway CPRO Kaushik Mitra.These two trains managed by IRCTC’s package has been classified into three categories — economy (580 seats), standard 3AC (140 seats), and comfort class (3AC) with 70 seats. Economy class includes accommodation in non-AC budget hotels, whereas standard and comfort category involves accommodation in AC hotels.
